I think it was dumb for all teams
Pirates get players that are every day players but aren't stars
Dodgers get to rent Manny for 2 months
Red Sox got Bay who is not even close to Manny

That is a great point Scott, I'd have to say the Pirates did farily well though, all they gave up was Bay for a lot of quality prospects. I'd say they did the best.

True they did better then the others
however Bay has been amazing first two games on Sox.

Bay is signed through 09 though right?
So far trade has worked out for all teams
Brandon Moss and Andy Laroche homered fro Pirates
Manny is on fire with Dodgers
Jason Bay has like a .500 OBP with Red Sox.
