Just look at this offense they have it is soo good and underated. 1. Nate McClouth 2. Freddy Sanchez 3. Ryan Doumit 4. Jason Bay 5. Xavier Nady 6. Adam Laroche 7. Dough Mienk/Jose Bautista 8. Pitcher Slot 9. Jack Wilson
Doumit bay nady mclouth and when he is ok sanchez is all star caliber as well. If they could get some decent starting pitching they would be a good contender.

Its only 7 games under 500. They are winning their game 2-0 now so hopefully by tonight it wiilll be 6 games under 500.
It is all because the weak starting pitching .

Weak starting pitching and inconsistent offense.

A clutch offense would put them in contention for division, which they are not.
Somewhat consistent offense? 25 Runs in the 'Tros series, 9 in a 4-game Colorado series, 18 with STL, 18 against Houston, back to 8 against Milwaukee.
I'd say a tad bit...

Its the pitching. Maybe you dont watch the games? They are very clutch they have a ton of comeback wins.

It's alot like the Rangers. They have the best hitting in the mlb, but their pitching sucks

im going to the game on saturday. I watched todays game as well. Hererra did goood cause he kept his pitches low. Unlike jvb.
What makes you think i dont watch the game here ill tell you the announcers talk. The first inning he was just saying all the names of the padres and how they sound the same I watch mostly all the games and also go to many. On saturday im going and JVB is pitching so maybe adrian gonzo will crank them into the river.

BTW, I'll be there tomorrow.
