the Yankees NEED Sabathia. He is an innings eater, he'll give 240 innings like nothing. Put that with Wangs ability to pitch deep in games, it will give our bullpen a lot more rest.

Give up the 2 draft picks it will take to get him. The Yankees are more of a win now team then they are a win in 5-6 years team (when the draft picks we give up for Sabathia MIGHT be MLB ready)

He had a bad start to the season, thats all. His last 6-8 starts he;s been the old sabathia. He gives you a lot of innings and he is a helluva lot better than darrel rasner and sidney ponson. And with Pettite and Moose gone after this year (contracts are up, dont know about resigning) You have Wang, Joba and Sabathia at the top of your rotation, that is a very very good rotation.

Plus with the innings that Wang and Sabathia will give you, it will only make your bullpen stronger
