They get Chris Douglas Roberts ;D He is a pretty good defender and has a nice Jumper. Just needs to work on scoring consistency

Everything was great besides the trade earlier. They basically gave up on the next two years. Douglas-Roberts was the best pick in the draft. They got two guys who should have been picked a lot earlier.
But, anyone remember his missed freethrows that costed them in the final round?

Ya lol. I think it was a pretty smart trade by the Nets. Richard Jefferson is passed his prime. Yi Jianlian has alot of potential, as he's still very young. Bobby Simmons will be a great off the bench player and is a 3 point threat for New Jersey, as will Brook Lopez(off the bench not 3 pont threat)Who is a defensive beast with long wingspan. Ryan Anderson will be another off the bnch player. Maybe 2 or 3 years are now, they'll be a championship contender.

What? RJ is in the middle of his prime. He had career high numbers last year. Bobby Simmons sucks. 3 years from now, if they acquire LBJ they could be contenders, but without him, I doubt it.

Simmons does suck. I doubt they could get LBJ tho. Cavs may give him another extension.
