your two games out of first place it is june i would be quiet happy It depends on the team. For the yankees, that is terrible. They have such a massive payroll. Significantly more than the 2nd highest (the mets). They should be 10 games up on Boston. |

I'd love to see them rebuild for the next few years, somehow dump A-Rod (probably impossible) and some of the other overpaid players, and use players from their system. Even if they just dump a-rod, they should be in better shape. He is NOT a winner, and it has been quite obvious his whole career. |

The Yankees have made a few mistakes. They should've brought back Williams. They should have kept Torre, he was a great manager. They should've resigned Abreu, the Angels are only paying him $8 mil, that's like nothing for the Yanks. They should not have signed CC or Burnett, both are incredibly overpaid.
Still, right now they have the 3rd best record in the major leagues (behind the Dodgers and Red Sox)
and Dodgergirl, do you think Pierre is going to get traded? Or benched? I think he's better than Ethier personally
