I know he is hugely under-rated because of the market he is in and he does great year in and year out and is a horse!!! and let me present the facts:
9 WINS 2.90 ERA Most Innings pitched by any pitcher! 6 COMPLETE GAMES < 4 More then anyone else.
Went through a stretch in which he had 4 consecutive Complete Games and allowed 2 runs or less and lost 3 of them! he could easily be 12-3 ish.
In my opinion he is for sure TOP 5 in MLB, and I was just wondering what fans in the US think of him and if they would want him on their team.
He is a complete pleasure to watch and hope to see him in a Jays UNI for his entire career, I don't care if his value stays the same he is just my favorite pitcher and can't picture him anywhere else.

He doesn't do great year in and year out and he is not a horse. You meant to say: "He gets injured year in and year out, and he has such great potential, but most years, he is too hurt to show it off." Ahh, that's better! lol 2.90 era is very good, but it is not all-star like. 9 wins? Cliff Lee and Mike Mussina have 10 wins in the AL. I think 1 more pitcher does too. Complete games just means he's economical. If I get to pick a rotation, I'm taking these guys over him: Rich Harden (6-0 or something like that, I picked him last year to be great this year) Jake Peavy Johan Santana Scott Kazmir Dan Haren Cliff Lee Justin Verlander (he'll heat up) CC Sabathia (he'll heat up) Joba C. (Chamberlain all the way yo) Josh Hamilton (seeing if you're paying attention ) Brandon Webb (11 wins so far, maybe 12 now actually come to think of it) Cole Hamels

well, for how he's doing right now, he's #3 in the majors right now this is my ranking for how pitchers have been doing SO FAR (top 5):
1. tim lincecum 2. cliff lee 3. roy halladay 4. edinson volquez (cooling down) 5. john lackey

Harden is still undefeated. Lincecum is definitely not number 1. He is great, and definitely better than Halladay this year, but he is not as good as Webb.

Little Known Fact: Josh Hamilton was an elite pitcher in High School and part of college pitching in the mid-90's but gave it up because of his ability to hit and became an outfielder. Here would be my pitching rotation (w/ relievers) 1. Josh Beckett 2. Brandon Webb 3. Jake Peavy 4. Carlos Zambrano 5. Mike Mussina Relief: Joba Chamberlain (Dominates in relief, I'd rather have him as a reliever) Joe Thatcher (May not be that big but is a great strike-out pitcher for the Pad's, also from my home town) Hideki Okajima Closer: Mariano Rivera or Trevor Hoffman (Need a veteran around with the young guys in my bullpen) I'm not sure who else I would have in my bull-pen. Those are just a few who came to mind.

Mike Mussina over Halladay are you serious? just see the facts even this year, Brandon Webb dominates in NL WOW!!! so does Moyer and Wolf lol, I mean I would love him on my team but come on... lol Halladay should be in everyone's top seriously I do truly see how going to a bigger market will make his value sky-rocket and staying in toronto will make him not even be in everyone's top 5, he should be 100%. I mean Mussina was awesome, but today you can ask alot of people in that big game I would want Halladay over Mussina that is today, I mean sure Mussina has 10 Wins but his ERA is close to 4.00 he hardly ever makes it into the 7th and he gets big run support (just check the facts on espn.com) and halladay almost always goes into the 8th and most times the 9th and his era is 2.90! he hardly ever allows more then 2 runs, he is awesome and hugely under-rated. The guy is a complete pleasure to watch, all you gotta answer is would you trade Halladay for Mussina. There is like the 10 people in the world that would do that trade halladay for Mussina or ya gotta be a yank fan. Mussina has 10 Wins with the yanks with a 4 ERA what would halladay have with the Yanks with a 2.90 ERA? Seriously I am gonna stop arguing but just ticks me off when people put Halladay so low and Santana? ?? 7-7 seriously the guy shows he just does not have it anymore was .500 in last year with Twins and now struggling to maintain .500 on the Mets and fans were booing him of the field at the Mets game. halladay is getting horrible offence and is still doing great! plain out the Jays can't hit for him and if they did he could easily have 12-13 Wins.

Santana is having an off-year so far. I'd much rather Santana over Halladay. Plus, who would take the risk with Halladay? This is his first year of not getting hurt. Who wouldn't trade for Halladay w/Mussina? They would be crazy. Halladay is younger. This is one of Mussina's last year. That proves nothing, whatsoever. Halladay is a top 15 pitcher.
